Investment policy

Strategic purpose of the Administration's investment policy is providing a favorable investment climate for enabling a sustainable investment growth to the city economy.
To achieve this goal the work is being held in following directions:

• Support of high potential investment projects at all stages starting from elaboration up to implementation phase.
• Calling in strategic economic partners.
• Improvement of the legal data base in the sphere of investment policy.
• Effective utilization of Petrozavodsk city "development budget" resources as well as Petrozavodsk Environmental and energy-efficiency fund's resources.
• Providing tax relief to the organizations, performing direct investments to the city economy.
• Assistance to the actors of economic activity in the use of the various financial plans and methods of attracting investments.
• Bringing in to the city economy the resources of federal and republican funds, off-budget sources, credit agencies, foreign investments.
• Maintaining and updating the Internet site "The Investment passport of Petrozavodsk city"
